Farmers Market Coupons
Urban Alliance provides thousands of coupons every year for fresh produce at Hartford Farmer's Markets and a collection of other useful resources and program information. You can pick up a resource bag every Monday (9:30 am-12:30 pm) in July at the UA Office. (62 Village Street, East Hartford)
Food Insecurity
Hartford has been called a food desert. Urban Alliance is working with Network Partners to help change that - providing training and resources, launching the Farmers Market Access Program, coordinating pop-up Food Distributions and pioneering ways to get nutritious food into the hands of those who need it most.
Health Screenings & Information
Urban Alliance coordinates health screenings, informational tables, and other events to support health and wellness in our communities.
Education Inequity
Urban Alliance is working to help coordinate needs and organizations that are able to meet them, freeing teachers and school administration to focus on the work of educating the next generation.
Second Chance Programs
Many returning citizens struggle to find employment, make ends meet and build a healthy network of support. Successful reentry relies on a variety of people and resources. Urban Alliance is working with churches and ministries to develop programs and provide resources to returning citizens.
Mental Health Support
Urban Alliance offers training, community and support to professional counselors, community organizations, and church programs that provide mental health support.
