Navigating SNAP and Medicaid Changes in Connecticut

Recent changes to SNAP and Medicaid policies may affect eligibility and participation requirements for many Connecticut residents. This training will provide community organizations, trusted messengers, volunteers, and frontline staff with an overview of the latest updates, including expanded SNAP work requirements and upcoming Medicaid (HUSKY) work requirements.

Participants will learn who may be impacted, available exemptions and supports, and how to help residents maintain access to critical food and healthcare benefits. The training will also highlight resources and referral options to support individuals navigating these changes.
