Beyond the Basics: Helping Basic Needs Programs Improve Service Provision

Feb 6, 2018 | UA News

At the Beyond the Basics quarterly meeting on January 18, participants from 20 churches and parachurch organizations learned about and discussed how to improve service provision by developing a program vision and mission, setting program goals, and leading and managing complex changes within programs.

The group also shared their answers to the question, “How do you want the people you serve to be impacted?”. Some of the responses included: knowing the love of Jesus, addressing loneliness, hope, feeling heard, less hunger, financial stability, and improved mental health.
