Congratulations to Bible Way Temple Nation, House of Praise and Worship, International Gospel Fellowship, New Life Worship Center, and Triumphant Church of God, who were recently awarded grant funding through Next Generation, an Urban Alliance initiative that helps children and youth achieve academic success, develop character and receive support through healthy relationships by collaboratively increasing the impact of local in- and out-of-school programs.
Grant funding will increase access for more than 60 Hartford youth to participate in YX Movement, which inspires teens to live boldly in their faith by providing opportunities for them to join together, build supportive relationships with peers and adults, use their gifts and talents to serve and increase their self-confidence. YX Movement holds bi-monthly worship events and an annual retreat for middle and high-school aged youth.
