On June 8, more than 200 volunteers from 13 churches and organizations in the UA network partnered up for the 2019 Revitalize Community Health Outreach Day to distribute thousands of health resource bags in a door-to-door effort throughout Hartford.
UA equipped these churches and organizations by providing training and toolkits for the outreach.
And, 15 people from 8 churches and organizations participated in the Next Generation learning community at Urban Alliance on June 20.
Program leaders learned how to effectively create a welcoming and healthy program culture and were equipped with the Youth Program Quality Assessment Toolkit to help assess the quality of their program’s learning environments and identify staff/volunteer training needs.
