New River Feeding Ministries provides non-perishable food items for community members Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00am-3:00pm. The church also hosts the Friends and Food program every other Wednesday so people may come inside for snacks, coffee, and fellowship before the Mobile Foodshare truck stops at the church from 1:00-1:30pm. New River Community Church has received training and supplies to offer a Beyond the Basics Community Resource Center through their program. Community Resource Centers help programs connect people to local services and resources that match their specific needs.
