Mustard Seed Outreach Center’s mission is to address the social needs of families in the Greater Hartford region in Connecticut by providing spiritual, economical, and educational services.
Children’s Summer Program
The Children’s Summer Program is a one-week camp offered the third week of July each summer where children aged 6-12 are able to participate in a wholesome program that provides daily teachings, arts and crafts, outdoor physical activities and a field trip at the end of the week. Breakfast, snack and lunch are included.
Community Outreach and Support Program
On an ongoing basis, MSOC provides a variety of services to individuals and families in the Greater Hartford community based on expressed needs. Support is often provided to at-risk families, individuals facing homelessness, people who were previously incarcerated and are reintegrating into the community and people who are struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues. MSOC also provides basic needs items to community members and makes referrals to local churches and community programs to best meet the needs of each person they serve.
