Care Net is a Christian ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of life, reducing abortion in New London county and providing free spiritual, emotional and relational support for abortion-minded women.
Medical Program
The medical program at Care Net utilizes medical professional to conduct tests necessary to confirm a viable pregnancy, and provides women and men with accurate, scientific information so they can make an informed decision about their options. Additionally, the medical staff conducts STI testing and treatment, and educates clients on reproductive health. This program operates Tuesdays from 9:30am–6:00pm and Thursdays from 9:30am–4:40pm.
Thriving Families
This program seeks to equip women to care for themselves and their infants through education and support on a variety of topics. Classes are designed to be a time of communication, connection, and collaboration. Supplies, including diapers, baby clothes, a crib and mattress, and a car seat are also provided at no cost. The Thriving Families program also offers post-abortion counseling and a Bible study for those who are healing from past abortions. With the exception of the Bible studies, the program operates Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30am–4:30pm.
