Congratulations to Hartford City Mission, who was recently awarded grant funding through Next Generation, an Urban Alliance initiative to help churches and ministry organizations reach and serve youth so they develop the character, relationships and skills needed to succeed in their schools and communities.

The grant funding will go towards supporting Hartford City Mission’s Nehemiah After School Program, a free daily program in Hartford’s North End for youth in grades 6-8 that provides a space for homework assistance, Christian character development, and affirms youth during the critical juncture of youth development during the middle-school years.
