Congrats to the representatives from FaithCare, Our Savior Lutheran Church, New Dimension Christian Center, New River Community Church and Valley Community Baptist Church, who completed the Beyond the Basics Case Management Training at Urban Alliance on September 2!
This training series helps basic needs program leaders and volunteers to understand the unique life challenges that the individuals they serve are facing, so they can provide them with tools and support needed to increase their life stability and begin providing for their own basic needs. Training topics were “Challenging Situations & Ethical Dilemmas in Direct Client Work” and “Connecting Clients to Community Resources”.
Beyond the Basics is an Urban Alliance initiative that helps people achieve greater stability in their lives by collaboratively increasing the impact of local food, clothing and housing services.
