Our mission is to create opportunities for people to achieve lasting change in their lives through the collaborative work of Christian churches and organizations in our local community.

Urban Alliance through the years
Initial dialogues begin with leaders in the community, exploring ways Urban Alliance can partner with organizations to help the people they serve.
Urban Alliance is incorporated
and the first staff member is hired.
The UA Network
The Urban Alliance network is created.
Youth Challenge of CT joins as the first network participant.
A Year of Firsts
- UA hosts its first training series - “Reaching the Community Together”
- UA completes its first community reasearch project
- Charis is launched to help people become emotionally and relationally healthy by enhancing local care and counseling services.
UAServe
UAServe is launched to help connect willing volunteers with the programs and ministries that are looking for volunteer assistance
Urban Alliance and World Vision move into the new shared facility at 62 Village Street in East Hartford and begin operating out of the office and warehouse spaces.
The Urban Alliance network has grown to more than 100 churches and organizations. Urban Alliance provides support to more than 130 programs run by these churches and organizations, that serve more than 130,000 people.
