On Thursday, February 15, nine individuals representing seven early childhood programs run by local churches and parachurch organizations participated in Urban Alliance’s Thrive quarterly meeting.
At this meeting, participants explored common challenges caregivers of young children experience when trying to understand their child’s cues. Several asset-based approaches ministry leaders can use to initiate a brief intervention to help support caregivers who are struggling to respond to their child’s needs were also shared.
Thrive is an Urban Alliance initiative to help churches and parachurch organizations reach and serve young children and their caregivers throughout critical developmental stages so children develop strong foundations for learning and growth. Learn more by clicking below.
