Mt. Carmel New Testament Church of God’s mission is to win our communities for God by meeting both physical and spiritual needs.
Mt. Carmel’s Basic Needs Ministry
Mt. Carmel’s basic needs ministry provides prepared meals and care packages to a shelter in New Haven on the second Saturday of every month. After Sunday services, the church church also offers assistance to local community members who request assistance. Mt. Carmel’s food pantry is in the start-up phase of providing holistic basic needs services to the East Hartford community on a monthly basis. More details about its hours of operation and services will be shared as they are confirmed.
Mt. Carmel-Shiloh Church of God Youth Ministry
Mt. Carmel-Shiloh Church of God Youth Ministry provides opportunities for middle- and high-school aged children and youth to grow in their faith in God and develop leadership skills, facilitates supportive peer and adult relationships, and promotes service in the community. Programming occurs on Sundays from 9:00am-2:00pm, Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00pm, and Fridays from 7:00-9:00pm.
