PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

Food Pantry
Glory Chapel is helping to feed the hungry by providing groceries and hot food to those persons in need.

  • Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm at 19 May Street; Hartford CT 06105

Prison Ministry
Through their Prison Ministry, Glory Chapel provides encouragement, hope, and a connection point. Glory Chapel does this through regular visits to the prisons and the conduction of services in the prisons.

Homeless Ministry

Glory Chapel regularly visits local homeless shelters to give encouragement and hope.

Children/Youth Programs
Glory Chapel provides children and youth with direction, guidance, and a positive environment. Most of their programs are run during their Worship Hours (see below).

Corinthian School of Urban Ministry
The Corinthian School of Urban Ministry was established in 1981 to give contextualized ministerial education to those seeking it, especially those involved at Glory Chapel and/or Youth Challenge of CT. A six-week leadership course is run regularly.

Annual

Vacation Bible School
Every summer, Glory Chapel runs a Vacation Bible School for children in the church and in their neighborhood.
