This Christian retreat is designed to create room for slowing down\, listening\, and receiving God’s gentle care for your soul. Rooted in Scripture and prayer\, our time together will center on rest not as escape\, but as a deep posture of trust\, renewal\, and abiding in Christ. \nThe retreat will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM\, followed by a shared lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. It is an environment in which children have the opportunity to discover that the Christian Faith is a living relationship with a loving God. Throughout camp children will travel in small groups (known as Tribes) to different stations where they will enjoy hands-on craft activities. Street theater dramas will bring to life the Good News of God’s great gift in the person of Jesus Christ. Games will solidify the camp themes through fun and play. Each day will start and end with large group singing.\nThis year Covenant Day Camp is putting on an all in-house produced experience. Our theme is The Greatest Story Ever Told where campers will learn about the Covenants (promises) that God made which create the backbone of the biblical story. All of this will have a story genre aesthetic (fantasy\, sci-fi\, mystery\, etc). \nThere is a fee of $65 to offset the cost of materials. This fee covers all five days of Day Camp\, snacks and drinks\, and the many crafts campers will make.
