Tasks may include:
- Setting up and taking down the welcome area each week which way include sign-in sheets, name tags for families and volunteers, give aways, and diapers
- Greeting families and volunteers as they arrive
- Orienting families to the location of room assignments and bathrooms
- Giving out weekly materials
- Having everyone sign-in and wear a name tag
In order to volunteer you should be:
- A registered UAServe volunteer (you will have a chance to register if you haven’t already)
- Willing to attend an orientation and training prior to volunteering
- Willing to submit a background check
- Open to an ongoing volunteer opportunity that works with your schedule
- Able to provide own transportation to workshop
- Responsible, warm, friendly, organized and dependable
