Mustard Seed Outreach Center's mission is to "address the social needs of families in the Greater Hartford region in Connecticut by providing spiritual, economical, and educational services.  The social needs include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Support to Greater Hartford families that are "at-risk", gang-affected and/or who have been identified as gang-involved
  • Assistance to the homeless
  • Reintegration of ex-inmates into the community
  • Outreach services in the community related to mental health, HIV and substance abuse
  • Education and prevention programs
  • Direct link to surrounding churches for spiritual support
  • Referrals to collaborating community programs


Aubrey's Christmas Dinner for the Homeless
Aubrey's Christmas Dinner is a collaborative effort between Mustard Seed Outreach Center and New Dimension Christian Center. Celebrated on the third Saturday of every year, the dinner is held at the Arroyo Recreation Center (30 Pope Park Drive, Hartford, CT).  The event includes food, positive music, exhibits from local community agencies and gift bags filled with basic needs items for the homeless.  

Children's Summer Program
The Children's Summer Program is a one week camp offered the third week of July each summer.  Community children, aged 6-12 are able to participate in the wholesome program that provides daily teachings, arts and crafts, outdoor physical activities and a field trip at the end of the week.  Breakfast, snack and lunch is included each day.
