The Urban Alliance network is comprised of churches and Christian organizations from
Hartford, Connecticut and surrounding towns.
Participating churches and Christian organizations (participants) work together to identify shared vision and opportunities for collaborative initiatives that help neighbors in need in our local community. The network provides a platform for the facilitation and support of these initiatives.
If our vision ignites your group's passion for working together to help our neighbors in need in our local community, we invite your church/organization to begin a conversation with Urban Alliance.
First, we begin with a “getting to know you” process before you officially submit an application to join the UA network. This intentional relationship-building stage is a key component of collaboration and occurs at the highest levels of the organization with the leadership of each church or ministry organization.
Participants in the Urban Alliance network vary considerably in the roles they play, resources they contribute, needs they bring, populations they serve and issues they address. However, all participants affirm and exhibit the core values and guiding principles articulated by Urban Alliance and shared by the network.
Please contact us or call Russell Jarvis, Urban Alliance's Vice President and COO, at 860.986.7664 if you represent a church or organization that may be seeking to join a larger collaborative network committed to making a difference in our local community.
"Urban Alliance equips and mobilizes a network of churches and organizations around human service initiatives in order to have the most effective, transformative and sustainable impact in the community."
